List of Foodie Favorites

While picking favorites is extremely difficult for a foodie, I did my best to share some of mine.

Food to crunch: Popcorn. I share a bowl with my husband and Phoebe (the cat) about every other night. Sometimes we pair it with red wine, sometimes with dark chocolate.

Comfort food: Pumpkin bread always reminds me of home.

Summer snack: Watermelon is soooo good.

Winter warmer: Apple crisp.

Food tradition: My grandma makes homemade Italian noodles every Christmas. There’s nothing like ’em.

Ethnic Cuisine: This might be the toughest one to choose. Alright, fine I’ll pick one – Phở Hoa.

Beverage: LaCroix. Especially the Apricot flavor.

Ice cream: While I do love me some gelato, my latest ice cream go-to has been Ben and Jerry’s Boom Chocolatta Cookie Core. And, by the way, I eat a whole carton at a time of this stuff – just to get the craving out of my system. Buying ice cream has become a fun roulette game for my husband and I, too. We only buy it from Target, and only if its on sale. That way when it is on sale, it’s so exciting! And, when it’s not, we have the strength to walk away.

Chocolate: Dark chocolate covered almonds. mmm.

 

Foodie Most Likely to Eat

We all have go-to’s or quick fixes when it comes to breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are my typical go-to’s when I don’t have much time for meal planning.

Breakfast: Two slices of Ezekiel bread with almond butter and banana slices. EVERY MORNING.

Lunch: Snap peas, carrots, celery, cheese, roasted chickpeas and a protein on the side. I like to nibble.

Dinner: Fish and veggies. Especially salmon with avacado. MMM.
